If you have just got a new puppy, or are about to get one, congratulations! This is an exciting time and there is little to compare with bringing that gorgeous, cuddly bundle into your home for the first time. I hope that it is the start of a long and loving partnership, filled with happy memories and the best adventures.
However, even with the most gorgeous, well-mannered puppy it is quite usual to have questions and to feel overwhelmed at times. You might be wondering what you should do at night if your puppy barks or cries, what to do when he toilets in the house, how to stop your bundle of fluff from behaving like a shark and terrifying the children, and what to do if he is frightened. Crate training is another common area where new owners ask for help - Should I crate train? How big should the crate be? Where should I put the crate? What happens if he cries?
You might also be wondering when you should start your puppy training. Should I tell my puppy off if he does something wrong?
These are all good questions and my aim is to help answer them for you and to get your relationship with your new friend off to a flying start.

Puppy School is a UK network of training classes for young vaccinated puppies up to 20 weeks old (at start of class). Tutors undergo rigorous training in animal behaviour and training techniques, and puppy classes are regularly monitored to ensure the highest standards. We provide group puppy training classes and one to one sessions in Buckinghamshire.
Positive training methods are used at Puppy School, with treats, toys and praise used to reinforce good behaviour. This helps you and your puppy build a strong relationship based on trust.
Puppy School tutors are chosen for their people-skills as well as their puppy training abilities. All lessons are fun and sociable with a happy, friendly atmosphere, where puppies are allowed to play and learn safely.
